  1. Windows Applications Deliberately Obfuscate Memory Location of Application

I am trying to find the directory location of Forza Motosport 7 and I am finding it impossible to figure out where it is located on the hard drive. When I right click on the game shortcut and I click properties it shows me nonsensical information about game location. Finding it in Apps and Features tab is not at all helpful either because it only tells me on which partition it is installed, which in this case happens to be the D:/ partition. Thanks Apps and Features you really helped me out there. I am trying to submit a replay file on Forza 7 forum and I am finding the process impossible sinc

    Windows fails to open applications

    Hi,

Once I have several applications open Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 refuses to open further application. I have heavy-weight applications like Delphi and Eclipse open, but the OS has coped with this in the past.

No error messages are reported by the application I am attempting to open, and there are no messages in the event viewer. What is really strange is that once the OS gets itself into this state, it appears that the OS can't allocate enough memory to perform simple API calls. If I go into an application that is already open and try to open the file menu, or right click on the taskbar to open the context menu, nothing happens.

If I close a few applications, then the problem goes away. The Task Manager performance tab indicates that I still have ~1Gb of physical memory available.

I think this could be caused by:

    - A memory module is damaged. My memory is comprised of 1x1Gb modules. When the system attempts to allocate memory in the second module, it is unable to. I think this is a bit of a long-shot because I wouldn't expect my PC to boot if a memory module was playing-up

    - I've installed something that has put something malicious on my PC. The only things I've installed recently are PRGrep and WinGrep, but unfortunately I didn't make a system restore point, and windows hasn't retained those old restore points. However a full Sophos scan doesn't show-up anything.

Any suggestions on how to diagnose/fix this welcome because I'm baffled as to what is going on.

    Thanks,

    Frank.

N80 & Application Manager memory issue

There is a STRANGE memory issue with Application Manager and Nokia N80 device. It's present in both N80 and N80IE and tried with Firmware versions from v3.x to lastest v4.x one. When you have installed many programs, tested with more than 150 counting
SIS plus JAVA, Application Manager gets unusuable reporting continuosly "Memory Full - Please close apps..." and you can't do anything with it... A curious thing is that you can Run and Enter Application Manager and installed App list is showed but not complete,
it list all the SIS files installed (I think it start to list that type) and then the JAVA ones is cutted and dont appear the full list of installed apps of this type. Another curious thing is that if you uninstall a SIS app and Run again Application Manager
the list is filled with one more app of JAVA type so this sound like a MEMORY ISSUE or deliberating restricting number of app listed? Today with 1 or 2 GB memory cards, this is a SERIOUS ISSUE. Please, could anyone confirm this and point me where to report
this issue so it can be solved in future firmware updates? Many thanks in advance.
