    Windows apps folder: Access Denied

So for some reason even though i am an Administrator, i keep getting Access denied when trying to open windows 10 apps install on the C: drive. It only happens to those apps, and that folder. I try to launch spotify and it comes with the same error. I tried giving myself access and it kept saying Access Denied... When i finally gave myself access it would launch but now i am getting errors like "parameters not correct" i uninstalled some of the apps and now i can't reinstall them.

Something is really wrong with the last the Security Update 10/6/20 it installed on. I uninstalled 3 other updates installed today, but that didn't fix it. Can't uninstall security updates.

It also shows 2 unknown Accounts in the advanced security options when changing permissions.

    :)

    Destination Folder Access Denied

    Hi,

There are times that you may run into the issue of being unable to open or access or work with files and folder. The common message that flashes on your computer screen when you try doing so reads: "Access Denied."

This can occur for one or more of the following reasons:

    • The folder ownership may have changed.
    • You do not have the proper permissions.
    • The file may be encrypted.
    • The file may be in use.
    • The file may be corrupt.
    • The user profile may be corrupt.
To resolve this issue, the first step is to run CHKDSK. It detects and fix disk corruption. To run CHKDSK, follow these steps:

    • Press Win+X.
    • Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • In the window that opens enter your CHKDSK command.
Get back to us to if you need further assistance.
