Windows 10: "Windows architecture is not supported" Cannot download Google Drive for desktop on Surface...

Downloading Google Drive for desktop from chrome works until I am asked to allow Google LLC to make changes on my computer. I hit yes and immediately get an error saying "Windows architecture is not supported"This is a new computer. How can I download Google Drive? I use a shared google drive in my lab to upload files, data, images, etc. and have to use Google Drive because that is what the lab uses.

Install Google Drive for PC

Hi,

I am trying to install Google Drive for PC on my Surface X Pro. When trying to open the install file that I have downloaded I receive the error message: "Windows architecture is not supported". I have contacted Google and they replied that I should contact Microsoft support and that they believe that my version of device may not support Google Drive, which I found very strange given my Surface is brand new. I am using Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044, system type ARM65-based PC.

where is google drive?

Downloaded google drive; clicked open in the DL folder; it listed it in the : Programs on this computer. Went to desktop to look for the google drive icon; but it doesn't exist. Went back to the: programs on this computer; list; and now it is not listed
in the list. Any ideas? Thanks.
