    Cannot install Windows 10 Home Threshold 2 Build 10586

    FWIW, I had the same problem as you and resolved it using the following steps.

    1) Stopped the windows update service

    2) deleted the sub-directories of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

    3) checked for updates, downloaded threshold 2

    4) restarted

    5) got an error that update failed, checked for updates again

    6) rebooted

    I for got to mention that the problem is with my laptop (HP Stream 13), and it is with the newest official windows 10 threshold 2.
