Windows 10: Windows asks me to setup windows hello but it is already configured

Hi everyone, I need help with this.Basically I reinstalled windows with the option to keep all my files and now windows security asks me to set up windows hello, I followed all the steps but something is wrong because when I finish it keeps telling me that I have set up windows hello. Every time I start Windows it asks me for the PIN to start but then in the settings it doesn't let me change it because I have to setup Windows Hello. Can someone help me?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Unable to setup Windows Hello, error: incorrect pin

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

May I know the complete error code or error message that you are receiving when you try to setup Windows Hello?

Do you have any other user account on the computer?

If yes, does Windows Hello work on that account?

If Windows Hello is not setup on other account, please setup it up and check if it works so that we can narrow down the issue for you.

I suggest to remove the pin and setup a new pin on the child account and check if it works with Windows Hello.

Please follow the steps below to remove and re-add the PIN:

• Press Windows logo key + I to open Settings.
  
• Select Accounts.
  
• Click on Sign-in options.
  
• Under PIN, remove the pin. There will be prompt to enter password, enter the password and removed the PIN.
  
• After the pin is removed, please click on
  Add to setup pin for the account.
  
• After setting up a new PIN, try to set up Windows Hello.

Windows Hello does not list the FIngerprint setup button.

• I've configured a PIN
• I've checked via skype, the webcam is working

The face login/webcam and finger print options are not listed in Windows sign-in options. There is no 'Windows Hello' caption in my windows sign-in options menu.

You explain; "You have to configure a PIN and then turn on Windows Hello, then the fingerprint setup works.

How do I 'turn on Windows Hello" when I allready have configured a pincode. Maybe a screenshot...?
