Windows 10: Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation - HIGH CPU usage...

I noticed in task manager that i have a very high 22-25% cpu usage for Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation. I did some verification but cannot find a real reason or solution for this high usage. It seems really abnormal.


I add that I also have trouble when using Skype. The person at the other end hears me but with some screeching and bad sound. I have tried everything possible with respect to updating drivers, etc ...


Maybe both problems are related?

Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation HIGH CPU USAGE

My PC has a Realtek audio driver from Dell manufacturer with Waves maxx audio driver. Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation is using about 25% CPU usage. Enhancements tab is not appearing on playback properties. I want to disable enhancements to reduce
high CPU usage.

I don't want to install Microsoft's High Definition Audio Device for enhancements tab to appear. Is there any way to reduce high CPU usage while having the Realtek audio driver?

When I install Microsoft's High Definition Audio Device, only the internal microphone is working and microphone on the headphones is not listening to...(I've tried troubleshooting, setting up the microphone in control panel, reinstalling windows etc..
but nothing worked)

And the other thing is, the microphone on the headphones only listens with the older version of Realtek audio driver and not with the newer version of Realtek driver and High Definition Audio Device.

I am having this problem with my PC that's absolutely driving me crazy. I've noticed Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation process has been utilizing 25%+ CPU power consistently and jumps up to 50% at times. I updated
all the drivers for sound card and peripherals but had no luck. Tried all the tutorials for fixing this problem but none has worked. My HP Envy x360 starting to get really hot and the fan was going nonstop at high speed and it drains the battery very quickly.
I decided to try uninstalling Skype then restart my PC, and somehow Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation never went above 1% of CPU usage. However, the second I reinstall Skype, the same problem came back. I have tried with both Skype for Windows 10 and Skype
for Desktop, both exhibit the same problem. Please help! Thanks.
