Windows 10: Windows audio Error code 0x80070005

Hello I am having an issue with the audio on my laptop. Recently the audio stopped working and when I ran the trouble shoot it said that there was an issue with windows audio or Windows audio endpoint. When I went into the services section of the computer it showed that status of windows audio was not running and windows audio endpoint that it was running. So that led me to believe that windows audio was the issue. When I tried to start it, it gave me the error code 0x80070005. When I tinkered with it and ran it off local systems and on my user name it would start but there would be no audio. Any suggestions or links? I tried to search and tried many of the solutions but to no avail. Is my sound card just shot?

Trying to download windows 10 to a media device (USB) for installation on another PC and keep getting this error. Am wondering if I should be following the steps suggested for error code: 0x80070005-0xA0019 ?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
