    Windows Audio not working


    After the latest Windows update, I can no longer hear sound.The sound icon displays the message "No Audio Output Device is installed", and I cannot select an audio device such as headphones or speakers more on this with Windows Audio Service properties. My audio devices show up in Device Manager and I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, and even using different driver versions. Currently, I have left all drivers up to date.I have ran the troubleshooter.My sound drivers are up to date, I have tried uninstalling them and restarting the computer, different versions, and updating th

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

  4. Windows Audio not working

    AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

    Hi,

    In that case, I suggest you follow below.

    Step 1:

    In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

    Step 2:

    Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

    Step 3:

    Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

    Step 4:

    You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

    Step 5:

    Restart PC

    Let me know the results after performing the above.
