Windows 10: Windows Audio Service Not Responding - Windows 11 - Lenovo

I restarted my laptop and after doing so I couldn't hear any audio. Upon looking into it, I found that the audio services weren't responding, and consequently, I tried solutions like updating the drivers no new drivers were available, yet nothing seems to have fixed my problem.I found one link to a driver, however, that happened to be for an HP device, and I am using a Lenovo device.Can someone please help?

Audio Services Not Responding - Windows 11

I don't have any sound through the speakers or headphones of my HP laptop. Running the Windows troubleshooter came up with the following message - "Audio Services Not Responding" , "Restart Audio Services", "Both the Windows Audio and the Windows Audio End Point Builder services must be running for audio to work correctly. At least one of these services isn't responding."

I tried restarting both of these services, and setting them to "automatic". No joy. In case it matters, I had this problem begin while I was still running Windows 10. I hoped that the upgrade to 11 might fix the problem. It didn't.

I would appreciate any advice.

Audio Service Not Responding

You can try a few things if you're having trouble with the audio service not responding on Windows.

• First, restart your computer and see if that fixes the problem.
  
• If not, try running the Windows audio troubleshooter.
  
• You may need to update your audio drivers if that doesn't work.
  
• You can do this through the Device Manager.
  

 

Audio services not responding- windows 11

I am unable to play audio from both internal speakers as well as Bluetooth after I upgraded to windows 11. I have tried restarting audio services and reinstalling audio drivers, the problem was not fixed. Windows troubleshooter simply says that the audio service is not responding and that the problem was not fixed. I have tried various solutions from the forums but none of them worked for me. kindly help fix this issue
