Windows audio services shutting down when using any sound

Im at a real loss here guys. Basically after spending 4 hours and trying several system restores that failed I have to wipe my drive just to get my audio back. I have an Alienware Aurora R7 thars about 40 days old and for some reason my audio services will not start up properly. Once I try using any sound it causes the services to shut off. In services it shows it as still running and everything including the sub services are set to automatic. I have tried updating the drivers, removing and adding back drivers. Basically tried everything the microsoft chat auto system asked me to do including some extras like going to my registry to see if its correct and it is. I spent an hour and a half with Alienware support and they remoted in and couldnt fix it. I find it hard to believe that the only thing left would be to completely wipe the system and start all over again just to get my sound back. If anyone can help I would be forever in your debt.

    Thank you - Joe

    :)
