windows auto switching to integrated gpu over discrete gpu in games

its been a few months, and ive noticed in all my games with 3d environments which would rely on my rtx 3050, the fps tends to drop to unplayable levels a few minutes into playing the game. this happens on quite a few games, from elden ring to the walking dead telltale, in both cases, fps drops to 20 or less with stuttering, even though the 3050 is capable of running the games at 60-120fps.system info :laptopwindows 11rtx 3050intel i7 11800H with igpuwhile playing twd telltale, i used task manager to view which gpu my laptop was using, and after about 5 minutes of gameplay, the usage would go

Game didn't use the discrete GPU

I have one game that runs just fine before but now it won't use discrete GPU no matter what I do it still won't use it, the game is Grounded (Steam version) it recently has a full release update and since then the game won't use a discrete GPU even though I force it to but the game still not using a discrete GPU.

It's only on this game, I can play other games just fine they're all using discrete GPU automatically.

Things I've tried to fix it:
    1. Set the game to run using discrete GPU in NVIDIA Control Panel
    2. Verify integrity of game files in Steam

    3. Re-install the game 2 times

    4. Set my laptop to use discrete GPU all the time

And recently I got a Windows 11 22H2 & NVIDIA driver update, so it's all up to date but the game still not using discrete GPU.
What do you think the problem is? Is it my laptop? Is it the NVIDIA driver or Windows 11 updates? or is it the game that causes the issue?

    Thank you

Game didn't use the discrete GPU

I did what you said but still, the game not using a discrete GPU it's so weird because it's the only game that I have which not use a discrete GPU after the update it can run just fine before.

And I've searched on Google and Steam Discussion but it looks like I'm the only one who has this issue T_T

Switching between discrete NVIDIA GPU and integrated Intel CPU/GPU (?)

Thanks for the rapid reply Dave.

With reference to your suggestion of "forcing" commercial 4K Bluray playback via NVIDIA GPU, please be advised that I contacted NVIDIA tech support late last year regarding this matter and they informed me, as had others in the past, that due to a lack of
certain hardware based copy protection on all discrete graphics cards, this is not possible. However, the Intel CPU is capable of such playback but I need to be able to switch between the two without having to go into BIOS and rebooting the computer every
time I change the settings, that is, if there even is such an option in the BIOS settings.

So my original question still stands.
