Windows 10: Windows automatically updating even after pausing

hi,i have an issue with windows update it updates automatically even when i paused it and will not even notify if its downloading and what is the size of that download. Its a big problem for me because i have limited internet per dayof 1.5 gb and it downloads every 2-3 days and sometimes my whole day internet will finish so my all work with internet will be pending sometimes for days. I want help to stop these updates download automatically. it will be helpful even if it shows size of update, a notification that an update is available and do not download download it automatically wait for th

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
