    Windows become half sized when I change orientation


    My laptop runs windows 11. When I use it on tablet mode, I often change orientations. Sometimes when I do this, the window I am using becomes half sized, and I have to take the laptop out of tablet mode to reset the orientation, then put it back into tablet mode and move to the orientation I was trying to use. I've tried updating drivers, turning of snapping windows, making sure my resolution is correct, checking for windows updates, and restarting my system. The problem still persists.

    Display orientation has changed in Windows 10.

    I would like to inform you that this issue might arise due to the change in the orientation settings in Windows 10 Operating system. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Display.
    • Select Display settings from the list of results.
    • Now choose an orientation to landscape and check if that helps.

    Or you may try resizing the windows by pressing
    CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow.

    how do i change the font size?

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the font size and check if it helps.

    • Go to settings and click on system.
    • Under display tab there's a slider on this page that you can use to change the size of text, apps and other items.
