Windows 10: Windows Bloatware Start menu apps keeps popping after every restart

Build no. 17134.320

So after fresh clean install of windows 10 I successfully could remove the candy crush saga and other apps from Start Menu - All Apps but I am unable to remove the Start Menu Tiles.

I removed these like 20 million times but they keep popping again and again, also I added some of my apps they were replaced with these arrow down tiles with message A great app is on its way!

I don't really want this unnecessary feature.


Would be happy if someone knows solution.

Win10 bloatware (candy crush etc) keep showing in Start Menu !


Hi.

I bought a new Asus laptop with windows 10 pre-installed (fall creators update).

I tried getting rid of the bloatware that comes with windows, I uninstalled them, but links to them always keep re-appearing in the start menu after every reboot !! Note that the apps are NOT installed, only their links appear in the start menu (if I click on the link though, the app downloads and installs).

I browsed around the forums and tried EVERY solution I could come across (disabling auto updates in the Store, creating a CloudContent key in the registry, disabling suggested apps), but nothing helps !!!

Any way to get rid of those annoying links ? It's really frustrating that Microsoft tries to sell me apps I don't want.

• Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
• Have you checked with disconnecting the external keyboard from the device?

Please some of the below troubleshooting steps and check:

Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the
  Search box from the desktop and click Troubleshooting.
  
• Select View All option in the left pane and select the
  Hardware and Devices.
• Click on Next to perform the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and follow the steps.

Method 2: If the issue still persists,
Start computer in safe mode.

  Type Settings in the search box on the desktop, select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Here select Change pc settings and then
  General.
  
• 
  Scroll down to Advanced startup, click
  Restart now.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshoot, Advanced options, and Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart, select Safe mode and then press
  Enter.
  

Method 3: Perform Clean boot to avoid any third party software conflict.

Disclaimer: Putting your system in
Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

Start menu not showing apps in Windows 10

Before we proceed, I need more information to help you better.

• Have you updated all the Windows updates?
• Since when are you facing this issue?
• Have you installed any update recently?

As a work around, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run built-in Windows Store app troubleshooter.

• 
  Click on Start search and type troubleshooting and choose 'Troubleshooting'
  
• 
  Click on 'View All'.
  
• 
  Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the latest updates

• Press Windows logo key +R, enter MS-settings: and then press
  OK. This opens Settings.
• In Settings, go to Update & security > Windows Update, and then select
  Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.
