    Windows bluescreend, crashed usually after restarts or shutdowns


    - I'm not sure when this problem started but recently, whenever I want to restart my laptop or sometimes just simply bootup, windows 11 will load in for around 3 minutes then it will crashes greenscreen - Insider build. It would try to restart twice and then show the advanced startup options or just startup repair, I chose restart and windows will work normally after that. After researching on google for a while, I see people using Reliability History and I see this. At first I though it was RoundedTB or TaskbarXI was the reason for the crash because it showed that those apps stopped working

    Work around

    I have not used this device in many years and don't need it. My work around:

    • win key +x
    • click device manager
    • expand modems
    • Highlight the Conexant device then right click
    • Click Disable
    • Close device manager
    • Check if shutown/hibernate /sleep/restart crashes
    • easiest way: use shutdown and it should not reboot
    • if it continues to crash and reboot, do a c:/windows/mindump/(select latest file) analysis using OSR (run browser in admin mode or dump file is not accessible)

    windows xp sp2 will not shutdown or restart

    i guess nobody has had this problem or knows what to do lol. crap i'm screwed, just reinstalled windows and not only does it hang during shutdown from desktop, it hangs during the restarts while it's installing windows. somebody please help me
