Windows 10: Windows Bluetooth Issues / Freezing Win10 (Keyboard asleep)

I recently purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard (Microsoft Surface Precision Keyboard). It works fine when initially connected with bluetooth however after leaving my computer for 10-15 minutes they keyboard will go to sleep and that is game over. When returning to my pc and tapping on the keyboard a few times, nothing happens, nothing registered. After a few more taps of the key I can see that Windows begins to stall/freeze because my mouse or whatever video playing will freeze for a few seconds.



From there I have to disconnect the keyboard on the bluetooth settings and then pair again as a new device. Does anyone have any suggestions?

• Type in the command below and press
  Enter.

powercfg -devicedisablewake "exact name of your keyboard"
