Windows 10: Windows Book 2 constantly freezing after start-up

A few days ago, my Surface Book 2 started freezing up a minute or two after a normal boot/start-up. I can't actually use it for long enough to try updating the drivers with files on a USB key or to reset the Windows installation.

Booting up in Safe Mode is stable. I can use the computer with apparently no problems in Safe Mode. However, I tried a Clean Boot and that still gives me problems.


I had not previously been using System Restore so I have no previous points to which I can revert.

• WIndows 10 Pro
• Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

Windows 10 Constantly Freezes

Windows 10 on PC constantly freezes. I called support with no help. It freezes every 2-3 minutes. This is unacceptable and I don't know what to do. The Windows rep suggest that I could go back to Windows 8. I've had 10 for almost two months and I would
like to keep it; I just want it to stop freezing my PC. I have tried the various suggestions given to no avail, this is a Windows 10 problem. PLEASE HELP

 

Windows 10, Surface book 2, Mouse Pointer Freeze Constantly

Hi,

For the past 4 weeks or maybe more, I have been having a really annoying issue on my Surface Book 2, 15 inch version.

When I move the mouse pointer around, the pointer will suddenly freeze, as if my mouse stopped working, after 0,5-1 second the mouse pointer can be moved again. This can then occur multiple times in the same minut. When it is at it's worst, this issue totally
disrupts my experience.

Oddly enough the issue never occurs during games for instance, only when I'm on the desktop. The problem also seems to occur more if the performance slider is set to max, and I am opening or closing programs and windows.

I have found several posts about this on reddit, it is a common issue, is the cause for this issue known, and is a fix on the way?

Any suggestion ? Anything??
