    Aloha, im trying to update my bios to upgrade my cpu to ryzen 7 5700g. Old cpu is ryzen 3 3200g. After my bios update this blue screen come up.Log file: \System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.I tried rebuildbcd and path not found -C:\boot. And i check my windows boot loader, device unknown

    How do I remove the Linux Boot Loader?

    You don't actually uninstall a boot loader but replace it with another.

    You cannot get Ubuntu to start on a Windows' boot loader, it needs to be GRUB (or an open source equivalent).

    Any ways, to get the Windows' boot loader back up, you need to insert your WIN7 installer disk and select the repair option>startup repair. I am assuming the WIN7 will use a similar setup menu as VISTA.

    After that, just format the partition/disk that ubuntu is on...

    Unknown device in boot order

    Hallo i have an asrock z97 motherboard in uefi mode with windows 10.

    In boot order menu in bios menu it lists windows boot manager, dvd rom, hdd and a boot entry that is says unknown device.
    So when i boot in my system i used the command bcdedit /enum firmware and i have this:

    Can i fix it?

    X800 GTO2 = Unknown Device

    I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?
