  1. windows breaks and back side button on mouse fails to work

Very very commonly my windows 10 completely doesnt work basically. I cannot click on the taskbar, file explorer, task manager or anything like that. The only way I have found to fix said issue temporaily would be having windows open an admin dialog. I usually do this by: ctrl+x and using my arrow keys to select cmd prompt as admin. Even after I temporarily fix said issue my back button on my mouse STILL doesnt work at all. Ive tried reprogramming it and the button just doesnt work at all, and yes the button works on other computers, yes im on the latest windows update, yes ive done /sfc scanno

    :)

  2. Designer Mouse Not Working

    Hi Henry,

We understand that your Microsoft designer mouse is working on other devices but not on your Windows 10 PC. This can be an issue with an outdated mouse driver. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you update the device driver. Here's how:

    • Click the Start button, type "device manager" in the search box, and then select Device Manager.
    • In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
    • Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions.

Feel free to let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

  3. New Mouse Doesn't Work In Windows 10 (Buttons Work, But Cursor Won't)

Hello all, I'm coming here because I'm having an issue with a mouse. I've gone through most steps I've seen online (uninstalling the driver and then retrying it), but alas none of that works.

The weird buggy thing about it is, it worked at first - then one time when the system was shut-off, the aura was continuing to shine anyway (and now it does that all the time - aura shining even if the system is turned off) and upon booting, the mouse buttons work, but the cursor will not move (in fact, the cursor doesn't even display until I plug-in another mouse).

Most guides would tell you to "Go to the manufacturer's website and get updated drivers", but this is just a cheap Chinese mouse off Amazon and the oddly enough "TechZone" isn't on the mouse anywhere - "Hemzone" and "Gamestart" are.

But regardless, searching any of these companies is a fruitless endeavor anyway. None of them seem to really be established companies or anything. I mean yeah I found this but I doubt chinglish-named drivers from 2012 are going to help me (not to mention I'm suspicious to even download them).

So yeah - I have a mouse that the buttons work but nothing else does. Also, it's aura shines the moment it's plugged-in even if the computer is turned off (as long as the PSU is turned on, of course).

I have no idea what is wrong with this mouse. All it came with in terms of instructions was a tiny square piece of paper telling you what it's four buttons do and what OSes are supported, that's literally it:

Yeah, it says only up to Windows 8 is supported, but the Amazon listing deceptively listed Windows 10 as being supported. So I'm just a little peeved, even though this was just a $10 mouse. It's also very disappointing because it matches my build design quite nicely, but now it's looking like I may not even be able to actually use it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

windows breaks and back side button on mouse fails to work

    Disfunctional Mouse

    Hello,
My wired mouse is a Genius M/N: DX-110 model. It's been working perfectly until yesterday. Today I wiped clean the keyboard while the machine was on, by pressing many keys at random. Then the mouse stopped working! I have restarted the computer, but to no avail.
The left button does not function at all. The right button works somewhat like the left button used to be, but it first displays a menu including "open link in new tab/window", etc. So it takes two steps to get to the destination, but then the link does not open by either left or right button and thus I have to use the touch pad key to open it, making three steps procedure in the end.
Both the pointer and the central scroll wheel work normally.
What has gone wrong? How can I fix it? All suggestions are heartily welcome.
