Windows 10: Windows BSOD nvlddmkm.sys

Hi, i have just started having this issue and it seems to come at random. I can just be opening the windows menu or i can have been playing a demanding game for an hour and my pc freezes then blue screens and restarts.I have tried:RAM integrity checkDDU uninstall of drivers and reinstallRemoving GPU and reseatingDifferent power connectors on PSUSSD integrity checkUpdating BIOSRunning furmark for 10 min, which didn't cause a crash and GPU temp maxed at 83ci can upload my error dump files but not sure how to?PC spec:i5 650016GB RAM DDR4GTX 970ASROCK h170m pro4sBIOS version 7.20 latest

What driver versions have you tried currently for your graphics?
If it is the newest version, 361.43, try rolling back the drivers.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

 

dxgmms2.sys BSOD

Hello,

A while back, my computer lost power while it was installing windows updates. Since then, I've had BSODs every couple days, with various errors pointing to a driver error. These were annoying, but manageable. I tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, like
using a removal tool for my graphics card drivers and reinstalling, but I didn't do much else.

The last couple days, the BSOD rate has ramped up, and I started seeing "dxgmms2.sys" get listed in the BSODs, which is relatively new.

HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

Hi all, I have some issues...after i installed the latest nvidia beta drivers 290.36, i keep getting crashes on windows boot (black screen) or BSOD of nvlddmkm.sys...I reinstalled drivers,and latest hypersli and problem didn't get fixed *Frown any tips?
