    Windows BSOD's randomly with error KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, how do I fix it?


    Windows sometimes crashes when doing nothing, when watching youtube or when playing games. The same error code always happens "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" without anything else after it. What I've tried:1. Switched the two ram sticks with each other2. Performed Windows memory diagnostic it was a black screen after i ran it, but once it booted a pop up said no errors were found3. Updated ALL drivers through the device manager right click -> update driver, did this for everything4. Tried Fortect, an auto driver updater, said there are 4 drivers out of date, but device manager says the ar

    We suggest that you try the workaround suggested on DonchakVS's reply on August 5, 2015 and check if it resolves the issue:

    KMode Exception Not Handled BSOD

    Started receiving this lovely error yesterday Getting BSOD KMode Exception Not handled. Tried updating the drivers, tried setting what the power buttons do. I tried CCcleaner, Virus Scans, Tried setting a dump folder. And I still get the Same BSOD with no additional Errors other than KMode Exception not handled. Please helpAttachment 182877

    Hi there,

    I'm having trouble for the past few weeks with some BSOD errors and they happen randomly, it's usually with KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED message and SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION and in a few of them ndu.sys and cng.sys seems to be the cause. No idea how to fix this issue, last time this happened was a few minutes ago while on a game of rainbow six siege. I have the minidump file shared on google drive. Here is the link
