Windows 10: Windows Build 2002 causing normal mode not to work

Since attempting and I mean only attempting to update to Windows 2002, it has caused such grief; I'm unable to boot into normal mode; although I can boot into safe mode and safe mode with networking, and only those two. I've tired every other booting option, nothing else will work. I've tried a repair using the Windows10 boot recovery tool, doesn't work.


chkdsk and sfcscan tried both of those two, doesn't work. Also tried some registry changes, got it to load once, then it locked up when it was loaded. I cannot, sacrifice re-installing windows and all programs and losing all files. There has to be a way to recovery Windows so it will boot into normal mode, then hopefully upgrade to Windows build 2004. This frustration has been going on for nearly three weeks and no resolution.

my money 2002 ran on windows 7 but not on windows 10. Is there a patch for windows to run old software?

I suggest you to try installing Microsoft Money 2002 exe file in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if
that helps.

• Right-click on the Microsoft Money 2002 exe setup file and click on
  ‘Properties’.
• Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1/7 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

PC stuck in Safe mode, unable to boot to Normal mode.

• What error do you get when you try to boot in normal mode?
• Did you entered Safe mode through Windows Recovery Environment or through System Config?

I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it works:

• Press Windows key + R and type msconfig and hit enter.
  
• On the General tab, tap or click the Normal Startup option.
• On the Boot tab, uncheck all the option under Safe mode.
• Tap or click OK, when you are prompted to restart the computer, tap or click Restart.

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .
