Windows 10: windows button does not work since update.

Ever since the update installed I can't use the windows button to exit game. I use steam, playing Alan Wake I could use the windows button to get to my desktop, but now it does nothing. To exit the game I have to hold down the power button for a complete reboot. esc. does nothing, alt+cntrl+delete does nothing. I have brand new msi gt vr apache pro, gtx 1060, windows 10. anyone have a way to fix?

I cannot click on Windows button. It worked until the update done the time before last. Now I am getting error messages for everything. It won't let me on internet explorer, it says access denied.

When I click on the windows button nothing happens. I did a restart and it still does not work. after a restart I have been able get on internet explorer. I cannot get to my control panel or even shut down.

I need help!

None of this works since I cannot get on IE. Store does not work. I NEED THIS FIXED

 

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

2) sfc /scannow

3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

4) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

5) msconfig (in the pop up system configuration > move the dot from normal startup to selective startup > uncheck load startup items > click service tab > in left lower corner check hide all Microsoft services > in the lower right side click disable all > click apply or ok > do not reboot)

6) taskmgr (in the pop up task manager > click on the start up tab > click on status so that the column sorts with enable rising to the top > right click on each row with enable and change to disable)

7) net user test/add

8) shutdown /r (you will reboot the computer so that it is in clean boot)

9) log on with the new user named test

10) Please check the performance in clean boot: open task manager and view CPU, disk, memory. How have the numbers changed. Are they higher, lower, same; Is boot faster, slower, same; is shutdown faster, slower, same: Are hangs more frequent, less frequent, same

11) Please compare the performance with the new user. Is performance better, worse, same
