Windows 10: Windows Calculator wont open anymore W10

Some weeks ago something went weirdo with my pc and I dont know why, suddenly I couldnt open pictures. After some checking I found out that the "Pictures" app wasnt working anymore, I could still open pictures if I manually open them with another program like paintbrush. Went online, found a tutorial to reinstall it via PowerShell... done. Seems like the similar event happened with the "calc" program, but this one is giving me some problems, I cant manage to make it work. There is no error, the program simply does not start when you click in its icon or write "calc" in the "alt+R" menu. I'

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

  Are you facing this issue on a local account or the Microsoft account?
  
• 
  Are you facing this issue with the built in calculator or the calculator app?
  

If it is a built in Calculator I would suggest you to check if you can open and check the status.

• 
  Press Windows + R keys.
  
• 
  Type calc and hit Enter
  and check the status if its opening.
  

I would also suggest you to try creating a new user account
and check if issue persists.

windows 10 calculator won't open

I have this problem as well. The pre-installed Windows calculator was working fine last week, now it wont open. It is still installed. The icons are on my task bar and my start menu, it is still listed in the app folder, and Windows Store lists it as installed,
but it wont open.

It seems that the path to it has been corrupted. Is it best to completely remove it and reinstall it to correct this, or is there an easier way for the computer to fix this.
