windows calendar view starts at current date

The mini pop-up calendar on the Windows taskbar has changed so that it starts off the month at the current date. This means previous weeks in the same month cannot be seen. The attached image shows this: after the first week of November I can no longer see the full month, it just makes whatever week I'm on the first week shown. How do I switch this back to a standard calendar view? Can't seem to find it in the Date/Time settings.

    :)

Lists according to date and calendar view

I want to create a list of names on specific dates that can be recurring or altered. I would prefer them to be without much detail, and to be easily viewed on a day or week view to mimic a week view paper diary.

I create lists of dogs I have in my care on specific days of the week. All the calendars I have seen are way to complicated and restrict the view of the list.

I can't find an excel sheet template to adapt either.

    Can anyone suggest anything?

    thanks

March 1921 date in Calendar month view

    Hi Glen,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forums.

Which build of Windows 10 is installed on the computer?

I would suggest you to try with the following steps.

    Method 1:

Sign out of the calendar app and then sign back in.

If it does not help, try to reset the calendar app. To reset the app, please follow the steps mentioned below.

    Open the Settings app.

In settings app, click on ‘Apps.

Locate ‘Mail and Calendar’ app in the list of installed apps and click on it.

Click on ‘Advanced options’ under the app name, scroll down and click on ‘Reset’

Launch the Calendar app and go to ‘Month view’ and check if the issue is fixed.

    Method 2:

Try with uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Disclaimer: Uninstalling ‘Mail and Calendar’ will require you to reconfigure the accounts with Mail app when reinstalled.

To uninstall the application, please follow the below mentioned steps.

Right click on Start button and choose ‘Windows PowerShell (admin).

    Type in the command: ‘Get-AppxPackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage
and press the enter key which should remove the app from Windows.

To reinstall it, please open the Store app.

Go to search bar and type ‘Mail and calendar’, click on the app name in suggestions list.

Next, click on ‘Get’ to get the application reinstalled.

    Hope it helps.

Outlook Calendar - mark / show duplicate based on "Start"-date only

    Many thanks indeed.
I tried your way but regretfully I could get it done. Sorry.

However, I also went on myself and have found a workaround and solved the matter.

    Workaround:
    1. Calendar - set view to list (details view)
    2. Select all
    3. Ctrl-C and paste it into Excel
    4. Remove the 'days text' in the 'Start' column (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) so you will get 'clean' date-times
    5. Sort the column
    6. Add a new column - "Duplicates"
    6. Then use a formula to mark the possible duplicates in "Start"-column.

For instance, when "Start"-dates are in column C , one might use a formula like =IF(C3=C2;"Delete";"")

this way duplicate rows are marked with 'Delete'

from that point on manually delete the entries.
    As said, a workaround.

    Anyway, thanks again.
