Windows 10: Windows Calibrate display controls not working after update .

The PC updated from windows 10 version 1809 to 1909 earlier today. It seems OK however when using the windows colour calibration wizard / tool , none of the controls have any effect such as gamma and colour temperature .
The AMD Radeon graphics controls work but there is no gamma control on that console from what I can see . Also in device manager the PnP monitor properties says the device is working properly but the "evenrs" tab says device not migrated due to a partial or ambiguous...

Display Color Calibration

We appreciate the detailed information. You can try uninstalling the driver in Device Manager and reboot the device. After the restart the system will automatically install the driver, then you can try to

calibrate the display again.

If you don't want to uninstall the driver, we suggest that you try the below steps:

• Go to Color Management using Search or Cortana.
• Click on Advanced tab.
• Select Change system defaults.
• On the new window, click on the “Advanced” tab on the upper side of the window.
• Now you will need to check the box next to “Use Windows default calibration”.
• Left click or tap on the “Close” button.
• Left click on the “Devices” tab you have on the upper side of the window.
• Select the “Set as default profile”.
• Reboot the device and see if your calibrate screen feature is okay now.

I need to disable windows calibration in Windows 10

  When you say “disable windows calibration” are you referring to Color calibration in windows 10?

Method 2:

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. If Windows 10 drivers are not available in the computer manufacturer website,
you may install the latest display drivers in compatibility mode.



To install the display driver
in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.



a. Download the latest display driver for Windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

b. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select Windows 8 from the drop down list.

e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
