Windows 10: Windows cannot file <file> How do i fix this?

so, i have windows 11, ive had it for awhile now, the last time i reset my PC was due to my younger brother downloading abunch of " free games " which resulted in abunch of viruses on my PC.now ive reset ive noticed abunch of weird things happening, things like not being able to open images, exe files, or barely any files atall, even some apps i had installed originally have been randomly dissapearing asif the computer is uninstalling them on its own, my desktop wallpaper keeps flashing and pixelating, and abunch of my icons do the same, ive rand DISM and sfc scans but nothing really helped, a

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed

 

Generating a .txt based file list in Windows 7

I want to be able to generate a .txt file that lists all the files and folders in a specific folder on my PC, but don't know the name of any programs that do that. Searched on google a bit and came up with this guide, but it's for XP and I can't seem to find some of the folder options to modify the .bat file. Any suggestions? Thanks

EDIT: The .bat file will do what I want if it is in the folder I want to do it in, but the option I want to add is having the right click option that it shows.
