Windows cannot find C:/program files x86\adobe\acrobat reader etc. etc. Make sure you typed...

Monday my computer was working fine but I opened today to start some work and found that I could no longer access Adobe or any Microsoft Office products. I have found the locations of them all and they are there. I have tried many fixes such as uninstalling and reinstalling the products, uninstalling antivirus and reinstalling as i heard that may have something to do with it, running an antivirus/malware scan and i've tried doing something else through CMD to no avail. The error I get goes something like this:

Windows cannot find C:/program files x86\adobe\acrobat reader etc. etc. Make sure you typed... f5892a00-89aa-4ad4-bebe-83caab05534b?upload=true.jpg

Does anyone have a fix for this? It's driving me insane. Nothing has changed since Monday when it was working completely fine.

    Thank you

    :)

  2. Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader

Can someone give me some insight into this issue? I installed Kaspersky Internet Security software on my computer. When I click on the Adobe Acrobat Reader icon on my desktop, I get a window that says, "Windows cannot find "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat
Reader DC\Reader\AcroRD32.exe" Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. Is this message and inability to open my Adobe Acrobat Reader related in any way or is this just coincidental. I never had a problem opening Acrobat Reader before.
If I look at my Iobit Uninstaller program, I see that Acrobat Reader installed along with its plug-in. Is this to be expected? I'm totally at a loss.

    Windows cannot find C:\Program Files(x86)Adobe\AcrobatReaderDC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe

The Acrobat Reader was working fine before I upgraded to Windows 10. I have tried uninstalling the program, reinstalling it and I continue to be unable to open the program. This is the error message that I receive when trying to open it:
Windows cannot find C:\Program Files(x86)Adobe\AcrobatReaderDC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again

    Help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader

    Hi Rob,

My 1st step to resolve my issue was to de-install Adobe Acrobat Reader and re-install it. That did not solve the problem. The only thing that I could not explain after the reinstallation was that the AcroRD32.exe file in Program Files (x86) had the date
of the last installation (3/25/2019) and not today's date of 3 May 2019.

    Best, DonB
