    Windows cannot read the setting from the unattended answer file


    new gaming pc build try to download windows 11 from windows 11 with product key. windows setup message pops up when turning pc on. Windows cannot read the <productkeys> setting from the unattended answer file. how do I down load my windows 11 software on my new pc build. note I verified my bios setup for windows 11 to be installed.

    windows cannot read the productkey setting from the unattend answer file.

    trying to set up a new computer and I am using a usb flash drive with windows 10 purchased from a store. the computer only gets as far as setup starting before I get this error message "windows cannot read the productkey setting from the unattend answer
    file". The only thing I can do is hit ok and when I do the computer restarts. Please help

    I built my own PC, and everything is correct, however when I have my USB in the computer the setup begins and then a window pops up, without anything else happening, saying, "Windows cannot read the <ProductKey> setting from the unattend answer file. Thank

    Thanks for your reaction, but I did everything you and Deepika said.

    There is no option to select 'Upgrade this PC now' in the tool. All I get is the message that everything is fine and that I just sit down and wait for the message that I can upgrade.

    The USB-stick does not work. I get the message "Cannot read the < ProductKey > in the answer file for unattended installation." And removing the USB stick after the installation has started gives the message that Windows is missing a driver, e.g. for USB.

    A clean install with the USB stick is possible, but I am asked for the Product key.

    I really don't understand why one computer easily can be upgraded, while the second one, 100% identical, give all those troubles.

    Maybe someone can explain to me what "Cannot read the < ProductKey > in the answer file for unattended installation." means.
