    GPU-Z 0.8.1 closes immediately after opening

    I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 and I was using version 0.8.0 of GPU-Z(which was working fine) until it prompted me to update to 0.8.1 and grabbed the update but ever since I opened it, it immediately closes and now even the older version of GPU-Z closes immediately.

    windows edge opens then closes immediately

    Edge works fine in my account with administrative privilege but on my account without the administrative privilege it closes immediately even after applying the fix listed in the answer. My computer is brand new.

    Programme opens and closes at random

    Hey everyone. Sometimes, mostly at startup and while I'm playing games, a programme with this icon opens and immediately closes. I apologise for the picture's potato quality, but it's all I could capture. I haven't identified any installed programmes
    with that icon. I thought it might be a Windows process, but I have no idea how to check. Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?
