Windows 10: Windows closes everything on my pc

Just a little context for what I was doing earlier, I was playing a game Valorant when suddenly my game freezes, and closes. Then a few seconds later I notice that all of my other applications start closing as well including apps like Discord, Messenger, Spotify, ExpressVPN, Steam and all sorts of apps that I have open, and the only thing that stays open is Google Chrome. Everytime I try to launch and app like Discord for example, it'll open for a second, then close right after. This happens for almost all the apps besides Chrome. I can't even open my Anti-Virus Trend Micro to try and do a scan.


I don't know if I pressed anything, but all I do remember is that as I was playing Valorant, I was holding down Left-Alt to use voice chat and press a few keys right after, then everything started closing.


I've restarted my PC about 6 times in a panic and have done a 'sfc/scannow' in the Command Prompt, and I'm currently searching the web for other troubleshootings that I can try. If anyone has had this problem PLEASE help me out I'm losing my mind.


TL;DR - Windows closes everything that I try to open and it's really annoying me right now.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
