Windows 10: Windows color management denying me access to change system defaults, any ideas?

My monitor has software to use for calibration, so need to uncheck the use window display calibration box which is currently greyed out.I have been told in order to uncheck it I must go into change system defaults, but it is denying me access. I am using the write admin password so that isn't the problem. I have also tried turning my other display off in case that was effecting the settings, but that did not work either.Has anyone got any Ideas of what else I could tryThanls

Unable to access 'Color Management' -> 'access denied'.

I am unable to use 'Color Management' because I get the error 'access denied'. It still opens but nothing changes in it. Also, I am unable to finish the Display Color Calibration process, I get the error box

Code:

"Display Color Calibration can't save the new calibration. Close other programs that are open, and then try again.The system cannot find the file specified."

This all happened after uninstalling and reinstalling AMD graphics drivers. I have tried to restart, uninstall drivers again, reinstall drivers, manually updating, updating through windows update, Removing all leftover folders and files of AMD, restoring,
and all to no avail. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Windows 10 Screen Flashing/inverting colors

Hi,

Since troubleshooting steps were provided, what I can suggest is for you to try to configure the settings on your monitor's color management. Kindly follow the steps provided below:

• Open Color Management by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color
  Management.
• Click the Advanced tab, and click Change system defaults.
• Click the Advanced tab in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box, and do one of the following:
  
  - To prevent Windows from loading display calibrations, clear the Use Windows display calibration check box.
• Click Close in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box.
• Click Close in the Color Management dialog box.
