Windows 10: Windows Color problem when choosing custom mode. The workaround of choosing either Dark or...

I think these problems have something to do with the contrast color, but I have it disabled yet the problem remains. I tried looking up for solutions but it only helped with the task manager text. This has been annoying me for some time and I would appreciate it if anyone could help me

To get custom color on the taskbar or a dark taskbar keeping everything white here is the ideal configuration.

Go to Start>Settings>Personalization. Go to Colors menu.

Under Choose your default Windows mode, choose Custom.

Under Default Windows mode, choose dark.

Under Default app mode, choose Light.

Windows 10 Dark Mode Not Working

In Windows 10 version 1903, the Mode settings changed, please try this:

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Personalization - Colors

Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom

Set Windows Mode to Dark

Set App Mode to Dark

If that does not work for you, toggle App Mode to light, then back to Dark . . .

If your settings are different to the above listed settings:

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

On the resulting dialog, what Version No. and build No. of Windows 10 are you running?

I understand that you want to set the file explorer address bar to dark;

Press Windows key + i and go to Personalization;

Click Colors;

Under Choose Color, click the dropdown menu and change it to Custom;

In Choose Windows default mode, change it to Dark;

Under Choose default application mode, change it to Dark as well;

Make sure the File Explorer top bar is dark now;
