  1. Windows compatibility problems, Nvidia drivers will not load or is the card seen in device...

Hello Microsoft, my name is Joseph I had recently bought a Gigabyte Aero 16 XE4 laptop and I am having problems with my Graphics card RTX 3070TI it won't recognize it in Device manager, nor can I load Nvidia drivers in Device manager under Display adapter it list Intel and Microsoft basic adapter as cards or adapters. It all seems to happen when I got the Gigabyte control center to work and it suggested updates when it suggested Bios is selected yes and it just kept representing at least 10-15 it would install bios reboot and suggest it again until finally it stopped upon running 3Dmarks bench

    :)

  2. NVIDIA mobile graphics card not seen after Windows 10 upgrade

As per your suggestion, I ran the NVIDIA driver installation program for Windows 10 under Windows 8 compatibility mode. The result was exactly the same as executing the program normally:

The NVIDIA driver installation program launches and runs flawlessly; no installation program compatibility issues with Windows 10. It does the following things in the process:

    - It unpacks the driver files and copies them to a suitable folder on my C-drive

    - Then it searches for compatible hardware

    - Then it reports that no suitable hardware was found and my only option is to click "Finish" and the installation program unloads itself normally.

Note that my laptop is an Acer Aspire 5750G with its original NVIDIA GT 540M factory installed graphics card. This graphics card was detected and worked flawlessly with Windows 8.1.

Therefore, the problem is that the factory installed NVIDIA GT 540M graphics card cannot be detected by the NVIDIA installation files, whether I execute them normally or under Windows 8 compatibility mode, with Windows 10 as operating system.

How do I make the factory installed Geforce GT 540M graphics card visible to the NVIDIA driver installation files with Windows 10?

Error: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) for NVidia MX250 Graphics card

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The error code indicates, "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)". We need to reinstall the device driver manually. I suggest you to refer the steps for
Code 28 mentioned in the article
Error codes in Device Manager in Windows
    and see if that helps.

You can try to run NVidia Auto-Detect and see if that helps you in installing the NVidia drivers. You can run NVidia Auto-Detect from
NVidia website. You can also check for the pending updates on the computer and install them. Please refer the section
How do I manually update my PC? from the article
    Windows Update: FAQ
    .

If the issue persists, I suggest you to try the steps mentioned below to install the drivers:

    1. Press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager
      .
    2. Right click on the NVidia driver and select
      Update Driver.
    3. Click on Browser my computer for driver software.
    4. Now, click on Let me pick from a list.
    5. Select the NVidia MX250 driver and click on
      Next.
    6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
    7. Restart the computer once the driver is installed.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.

Windows compatibility problems, Nvidia drivers will not load or is the card seen in device...

    Windows 10 nVidia Driver Question

With the Nov Update, Windows 10 became mature enough to give another try. Build 10586 (version 1511) runs great, feels snappy, and has no obvious problems. However, I'm concerned with this version's insistence on loading nVidia's 353.54 driver, which is dated July 13 2015, 4 months ago. On their US website they list all the new drivers as being compatible with Windows 10, (such as 358.91), but they won't load (installer says incompatible with this version of Windows, could find no compatible hardware...). The 353.54 driver runs games without any problems, but why is it taking so long to for nVidia to update this driver? Is it my 780 Ti that's incompatible or is it Windows 10?
