Windows 10: Windows computer not register videos when insert sd card

I have tried 2 different sd card readers, my windows computer knows I am putting a sd card in then I get to the photos page it brings me it shows no videos or photo. I checked device manager and it says both sd card readers are reading properly.

• Have you tried inserting or connecting other SD cards?
• Are you getting any error messages when trying to insert the SD card, or when trying to connect the camera? If so, please send us a screenshot.

troubleshooter to scan your computer, identify the problem, and attempt to fix the issue automatically. You may refer to the steps below:

• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

Transferring photos from sd card after Windows 10 upgrade

Method 1:
Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter

• Press Windows Key + R, type Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar, click on Troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the Troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist refer to the below method.

Method 2: AutoPlay Settings.



I suggest you to follow the steps as shown below and check if it helps.

• Insert in the SD Card.

• Go to Start and type AutoPlay Settings.
• Choose AutoPlay Settings.
• Under your SD Card settings, choose the option "Import Photos and Videos."
• Exit Auto Play Settings and check if the issue persists.

I also suggest you to install latest chipset drivers by downloading from the computer manufacturer’s website.
