Windows Configuration Update KB5030509 will not install. It keeps saying "Pending restart" I restarted and it just goes back to "Pending restart"How to I fix this?Thank you.

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

Windows 10: Pending restart but after restart it still says pending restart endlessly.

I did install the KB4567523 manually and it was successfully installed but there's one problem the pending restart is still
there and when I checked the update history the new one is successful but I don't think that it removes the KB4557957 bug that says pending restart.

The KB4567523 works fine but, I can't check for more update because the KB4557957 keeps prompting me to restart.
