Windows 10: Windows continuously freezing up

    Windows continuously freezing up


    My PC has been freezing up randomly over the last week, and I'm exhausted all of my options so I thought I would post here. I've done a fresh install 4 or 5 different times, I've reset Windows 5 or 6 times, but everytime it still locks up. Today, the Insider's Edition 17692 was installed, I'm still having the same issues, but prior to this Insider's Edition downloading and installing, I was running the public version of Windows 10 Pro. I've tried installing it using my Microsoft account, I've tried installing it using a local account, and only today, I've had 1328 Administrator Events logged. I'm not going to post all of them, but I took a snapshot of my Event Viewer with everything just before it locked up to where it is currently. Hopefully, someone can give me some insight as to what I can do to fix this. I'm at a loss.....     all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    Windows 10 Anniversary Freeze continued

    Hi,

    Have you tried reinstalling the update after uninstalling it? Kindly refer to the answer of Yaqub K from this link:

    Windows 10 May Freeze After Installing the Anniversary Update.



    Once done with the steps on that link, you may redo the update:

    • Go to this
      link      .
    • Click the Update now button to download the Windows 10 Update Assistant.

    • Double-click the file you just downloaded to begin the update process.

    • Follow the steps to complete the process.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
