Windows 10: Windows could not determine the language to use for setup. error code:0x80004005

I was on windows 11 and used it like a month or more but wanted to shift to windows 10. So, I downloaded it tried to install it but it didn't install so I reset my pc and it's stuck at preparing and there’s a pop-up saying windows could not determine the language to use for Setup. Error code : 0x80004005I badly need to use the my pc. How can I fix it? Please help.

I have looked over many other posts about this, all with the same error code, but with a different problem.

I have a computer thats a few years old, it has an ABIT kn8-sli motherboard, and its running off windows XP.

I was having problem with the hard drive before I gave up on it awhile back, and now I have come back and resolved that problem, but now when I get to the login screen and type in the password it says its in need of an update, then when it asks me if I want to update I click Yes, and then it says it won't work due to error 0x80004005.

The only operating system I have currently is windows 7. Do I need to go buy a new OS or is this recoverable?
