Windows 10: Windows could not find a camera compatible with Windows Hello

I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 2.The device has a built in camera but when trying to set up face recognition i get an error stating "windows could not find a camera compatible with windows hello". I have checked:apps - Windows hello face is installed.Updates - all updates installedWindow biometric DB - runningCan anyone advise why i am still having this issue?

I've been using Windows 10 face recognition, ie Windows Hello, for a long time without problems. Suddenly it stopped working and I discovered my security software was blocking access to the webcam. After I turned that protection off my apps, such as Zoom and Vivaldi, can access the camera again, however I can't get it reconnected to Windows Hello. When I go to Sign In Option in Settings it says that "Windows Hello Face" is currently unavailable. When I click on it it says it can't find a compatible camera. So far I've tried moving the camera to a different USB port, attempted to update the camera drivers (there are no driver updates available) and rebooted a few times, without success. Any suggestions for what to try next will be appreciated.

We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner/camera Windows Hello

Hello,
I'm experiencing some issues while trying to enable the Windows Hello login via camera and fingerprint.
Basically I have this Windows 10 21H2 joined to a domain, and using administrative creds I've enabled the registry keys to enable Windows Hello and PIN login.





Unfortunately I'm not able to use the Hello camera or fingerprint despite the device is Windows Hello compatible (HP Elitebook G8).
I've tried all the suggestion reported on the tutorials but still no luck, I have the error:

We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint

On both camera and fingerprint. Both devices are recognized properly via devmgmt.
Do you have any suggestion?

Windows Hello can't find camera, prevents options from being shown

Hi, Windows Hello requires a camera that meets quite tight requirements which are, unfortunately not very clearly stated.

I would consult your manufacturer as to its compatibility with Hello.
