Windows 10: Windows crash when I print to a pdf

When I print to PDF using MS Edge, Chrome, outlook and other apps and select either the Adobe PDF or Microsoft Print to PDF printer, the window where I can choose where to save the PDF opens but then immediately closes, and the entire browser or app shuts down as well. I already spoke with Adobe technical support and they had me print a document from Adobe Acrobat Pro, and this issue didn’t happen. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled my printers, cleared the cache and cookies, and the problem still persists. Help please!! this is so frustrated!

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

Thanks for your help. I was browsing the web the other day and I found a page called FINAL DRAFT. They had a set of instructions for reinstalling the Microsoft Print to PDF utility that worked great for me. Problem solved.
