Windows 10: Windows Crashing My Computer

I need some help. My PC keeps crashing with the following Windows error:

I've reached out to Microsoft Tech Support and was provided a complicated "fix" that required manipulation of the registry. I'm not and IT professional or system admin, just a "user" of my PC. Here's my last exchange with Vikram S. today:

• V: Personally, I have it 3-4 times and I rebuild my Windows again
• Me: Really??
• V: I am really sorry but there is no quick fix for this
• Me: I was afraid of that
• V: I can imagine
• Me: It seems I'm out of luck
• V: I am really sorry Ed

It appears this error is quite notorious based on some web searches I've done and the "fix" doesn't seem to fix anything. So, Microsoft, what can be done about this??? It seems like you guys should be responsible for correcting this issue with a patch. This is so frustrating! ****! Help!

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

 

Computer keeps crashing

when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also
