    Windows Cumulative Update Ruining Everything


    Excuse the dramatic title but this issue has been going on for months now! I actually thought it had resolved itself but tonight has reared it's head yet again.Here's what happens:1. My laptop - which is working fine - suddenly starts to become unresponsive and slow down to the point where even reading an email becomes next to impossible.2. I check Task Manager and discover Disk is at 100.3. I check Windows Update and there's updates going through at an alarmingly slow rate. They look like familiar updates too. This time they are:2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for W

    Win 10 update ruined my computer


    I will gladly dispose of any "ruined computer" that Windows 10 has "ruined". Just ship them to me and I will take care of disposing of the "ruined" hardware!

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    I think today's windows update(stable channel) solves d issue

    Cumulative Update KB4020102 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.332

    • Addressed issue where, after installing the Creators Update, audio output through external decoders no longer works.
