Windows 10: Windows Default folder Issue

Hello,I bought a new SSD that I want to use for all my default system files desktop, music, videos, my documents etc.. On doing so I used the option of creating a "user" folder on the new SSD then doing location - move target to that new folder. Upon doing so I got errors about parent and child folders and now I am so out of sequence. I have my music and video folders called "users" and they are somehow joined into one. and my old C drive now has folder named of "pictures" when it used to be Users. I just want my D drive to have all the old personal files that was on the C drive. is there an

We suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Go to control panel.
• Go to Default Programs.
• Click on Microsoft Picture Viewer and set it to default.
• Check if the issue is resolved.

• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
