Windows 10: Windows Default Font

Several screens within iTunes are unreadable as they seem to be in a Hebrew type font and support suggested the windows default font on my laptop was incorrect. Now I notice the time on my laptop has a square instead of dots in the middle ie it looks like a wrong font. Can you advise if these are connected and what the default font should be and how can I check. I have already tried to go into control panel - fonts - settings and restore default settings but the option just goes grey and then doesn't seem to do anything.

I do have some custom fonts installed on my laptop for us in WORD which I need for my work - I hope these are not the problem.

• Which Windows 10 build are you using?
• When you say ''Tried the one in the font menu but it didn't work!
  ‘’did you tried the option Restore default fonts settings? If not you can try the below steps.

Let’s try to restore the default fonts settings and check if this helps.

  Type fonts on the Windows search bar and select
  Fonts.
  
• 
  Click on Font settings on the left pane and click on
  Restore default fonts settings.
