Windows 10: Windows Defender Admin Rights

Hi everyone! I am kindly asking for your help to solve two problems I am facing with windows 10 on my Dell G7. 1. The first problem I face relates to windows defender and admin rights. Whenever I tried to turn on real-time scan on windows defender, a pop up saying that the IT admin had restricted access to certain apps W.D. included would come up. The pop-up would say - textually - "The IT administrator has restricted access to certain areas of the app and the item you are trying to access is not available. For more information, contact technical support". It is important now to specify

admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

Hi guys,

I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.

Windows Defender problem

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.
