Windows 10: Windows Defender and Quicken 2018 Conflicts

Does someone have the specific exclusions for Windows 10 Pro Defender Antivirus to keep it from intercepting Quicken 2018

Windows 10 and Quicken 2018 Issue

Help?

I am using

• Windows 10 PRO, Version 1803, OS Build 17134.81
• Quicken 2018, R9.30, 27.1.9.30

After updating to Quicken R8 - Quicken will not load or allow me to log in to their server.

I have contacted Quicken support and they state it is a Windows 10 issue and they will not help me any further.

One error message I get is below and the other one is the Quicken white screen - they want you to login but it never goes thru.

Exception:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.al(cr A_0, ar4 A_1)

at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.a(cr A_0, ar4 A_1)

at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.b(cr A_0, ar4 A_1)



Begin_Block_1 (this goes on for 203 Pages)



Any ideas??

 

Quicken 2018 and Windows 10

I upgraded from Quicken 2015 to Quicken 2018. I am running Windows 10 anQ15 was working perfectly. Now Q18 will not scale correctly when it is expanded to full screen size. the text **** all the way to the right leaving the left 90% blank. I have tried Quickens
compatibility tests. No luck. Tech Support is saying it is a Windows issue. Can I get some help with this?

Windows 10 Error Code 2503 comes up when uninstalling Quicken. Unable to uninstall quicken. How do I correct this problem?

• How did you try to uninstall Quicken?

Kindly try the steps below and check if this helps.

• Using the Windows search feature, look for Control Panel.
• Click Control Panel Desktop app to open.
• Choose Programs.
• Under Programs and Features, click on Uninstall a Program.
• Find Quicken in the list of programs. They are alphabetically ordered. Highlight it by clicking on it once.
  
• Click on Uninstall at the top of the list and follow through the prompts until the program is removed.
  

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to contact Quicken support regarding this matter for assistance.
