    Thanks for the update, Tom.

Since you've followed the advice above, please allow it to remain as is. We're now recommending you to update your
Windows Defender, or your trusted Antivirus software and run a full PC scan.

About Windows Defender, please refer to the following links:

Windows Defender shall be able to check a few errors that are caused by third party malicious programs, if there's any. In case that Windows Defender (or the Antivirus) did came with anything in hand, we are now suggesting that you run windows Update, and
see if there will be patches for this wsappx(2) concern.

There were some known reports about wsappx taking the whole computer resources and make the PC slow, which has been known to the Microsoft engineers. Windows Update most likely, will give the patch. The only difference that we have right now is that
you have wsappx(2), so we will need thorough research regarding this.

For now, please perform the suggested methods, and let us know about the result.

We'll come back as soon as we got resolutions for this.

  3. Service Host Using LOTS of Memory. Services: WMI and IP Helper

That wasn't helpful at all. The community you suggested is too confusing and doesn't even have a proper topic to place my current issue.

I find that this is often the cause of a period of poor performance during the first 5-10mins after turning on from a full shutdown. Once the tasks have been completed everything is back to normal. The effect is less noticeable after a hybrid shutdown which you get if Fast Startup is turned on in the power options > choose what the power buttons do.
