Windows 10: Windows defender blocking my application - how to whitelist for users?

I've created an application for a MMO that I've maintained for over 10 years. All of a sudden, users are reporting that Windows Defender is flagging it as suspicious. The detection line says PAU:Win32/CoinMiner.


I've scanned my computer with Webroot and Windows defender with nothing found.


My application is open source and while I'm not the best programmer, I'm not doing anything malicious. My thought is that there is some process that is flagging my application as a false positive. Is there any way I can contact Microsoft to get this program looked at and cleared as an acceptable program for windows defender? Appreciate any info.

Windows Defender Firewall Whitelist application names

The names of the applications in my Windows Defender whitelist are unintelligible jargon. Is this normal now?

To be able to view the proper name of the app in the whitelist I have to click details.

Tried sfc /scannow but it's still the same. Any ideas?

Just want to know how to whitelist a Web address WDFW is blocking, because it doesn't like me to visit it and not exactly because it's really harmful.

 

Application Blocked from Accessing Graphics Hardware

Yeah sorry, I was out with friends and on my smartphone at the time.

Looking at this more closely now on my PC, if rolling back the drivers didn't fix it, I think it's actually Windows Defender blocking the application by the looks of it and not a driver issue at all. Try to either whitelist GTA5.exe or disable Windows Defender and see how it goes.
