    Windows Defender detects Backdoor:Win32/Bladabindi!mclg


    Hi, I have a problem with a warning my windows defender gives me since a few days. It started on the 29.06.2022, where Windows Defender gave me the warning that it removed the Backdoor: bladabindi. When im watching the source where windows defender found it it shows me a .exe file with random letters and numbers as name. I used Windows Defender Offline Scan, I made a full scan with the normal Windows Defender, I tried Microsoft Safety Scanner and I also scanned from my Linuxdistribution with ClamAV. Nothing showed me anything which gives a hint to this bladabindi infection. Now I´m at the end

    Can Windows Defender detect external win32/kernel api calls?

    There's a lot of win32/kernel based keyloggers on the internet. Can Windows Defender detect when a simple application calls key stroke related win32/kernel functions?

    I have read this, no it is not corrected. It is on 3 of my 5 computers and Malwarebytes cannot seem to discover it.?????
