Windows 10: Windows Defender Disabled in services.msc <Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 2 >

Hi Team, Some malware disabled my Windows Defender. Now when I am trying to access "Virus and Threat Protection", it says, "page not available, your IT administrator disabled....". I used Malwarebytes to remove the malwares but still my issue is not resolved. In the services.msc , I searched windows defender service, and it is showing like this.Please help, i am in trouble .

Try this method: Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

You could have used a script to disable the service as I have done.





I have disabled "Windows Update Medic Service" intentionally, while "Windows Update" still works.

 

Windows 10 Services most of entry has "Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 2"

I have noticed this recently but I think the problem has been there for a while. So I don't know where I can return to.

Ideally, I'd like to know what happened

Are we supposed to try each step, starting with 1, until service no longer has "<Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 15100 >" in description?

I tried Step 1. After part 6, I got the following popup message:
